working together

A quick glimpse of how we’d work together.

Step 1: Say Hello!

Email me at liz@ewediting.com to get the convo started.

Step 2: Discuss Your Work

Your work is your baby (or, if you’re like me, your sweater-wearing wiener dog—no judgement).

To make sure I’m handling your work with care, I want to hear all about:

  • your project’s goals and vision

  • your audience’s wants and interests

  • what you want your audience to get from your work

  • what changes you think the text needs

Step 3: Review Your Work

Next, I will review your work. This helps me know what type of service it needs to truly shine.

Step 4: Finalize the Details

Then, I grab my abacus and put together your personal work proposal. It includes your project’s:

  • detailed service description

  • final deliverables list

  • due date timeline

  • pricing details

Step 5: Work Begins

Next, I sit my butt down in my office chair (or, let’s be honest, my corner of the couch) and get to work.

I’m all about giving you helpful solutions, not scathing critiques, to the issues in your text.

Step 6: Review & Revisions

Finally, you will review the finished work.

I am always free to discuss any of the suggestions or questions I leave on your text. I want you to be confident we have created exactly what you envisioned.
